Our Team
LAWRENCE FIERRO
Founder/Co-Owner
Has over 41 years of experience in the construction management industry. He worked for the city of Las Cruces in the Community Department and in 1985 he founded Fierro Enterprises, LLC and started building custom homes throughout Las Cruces and surrounding areas. In 2011, Lawrence changed the direction of the company and began focusing on commercial & Industrial projects.
As the firm’s founder, Lawrence Fierro set the standard of excellence that continues to give all Fierro Enterprises, LLC practices. Mr. Fierro was born and raised in Mesilla, NM and is a graduate of NMSU with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. Today, his primary role is meeting with clients and partnering professionals to establish the best and most efficient way to move forward and continue to provide quality projects to it’s customers.
LAURA FIERRO
Co-Owner
As a principal, Laura Fierro leads all marketing and administrative initiatives for Fierro Enterprises, LLC along with working with the management team in defining and implementing training, recruiting, compensation performance management employee engagement, compliance, workers compensation, benefits and more.
Laura Fierro comes with extensive Facilities Management experience having worked in the Bay Area (Silicon Valley in California) for a financial software firm and a major theme park company for over 11 years. Laura Fierro joined the company in 2001.
Robert "Bobby" Covarrubia
Contract Specialist
Bobby joined Fierro Enterprises, LLC in 2017 as a contract specialist. Bobby is in charge of Fierro Enterprises’ contracts for services. This activity includes soliciting and acquiring contracts, evaluating bids, negotiating terms, drafting contracts, overseeing execution of contracts, extending contracts and ensuring the contracts are in compliance with plans, specifications, and design standards. Once a contract has been awarded Bobby provides construction oversight; quality / safety assurance; reviewing and approving submittals, materials, testing; and ensures that all projects are completed on time and within its budget.
Bobby has over 35 years of construction experience in both residential and civil construction arenas. Bobby has overseen and managed numerous federal constructions contracts for the United States Army Corps. of Engineers, Department of Defense, Directorate of Public works and private homeowners. Bobby holds a New Mexico GB-98 license, Construction Quality Management Certification, Excavation Competent Person Certification and is a Qualified Compliance Inspector of Stormwater.
